Ya know, usually I do some sappy year end wrap up post, and spam the feed with a shit ton of art and screw off until the new year. But this year will be more of a reflective one, and just a general post about what's in the future. Will it still be month by month? Idk.

2023 was a rough but important year. This post isn't gonna be about the personal shit. It's a post to look back one last time, and look forward towards the new year.

SO, like q4 through 2022 @ManlyPotato alongside Team White Chocolate gave the greenlight on Love Me Newgrounds!!! 2. And after months of turbulent progression, most of which caused by me. @Bleak-Creep and @CaptainStevie the wonderful people they are pulled through and got the team in order to finally get Love Me Newgrounds!!! <3 J00 2 out to the public in June! ! After the release and the good reception, @Gloom-Cloud @QueenBoo and I hosted the FanartcontestexSTREAMaganza over on Gloom's Twitch with the rest of the <3 J00 Crew! It was a blast, and was the birthplace of the ever legendary MC-Kun Sex Playlist, which can be found in the embed!

I also participated in the Newgrounds Festivals hosted by the great @Kekiiro and @Slimygoo which was great! If 18+ send an application to be part! Otherwise attend on Youtube! So, where do I come in? so far I have nothing to do with it, right? Well I participated in @Cubesona and @Oolongearlgrey Heaven and Hell art panel! Yes, that is all LMFAOOO

And that is basically all that has been public this year. Not much. I spent most of the year working on myself and personal projects.

Anything of note here? Well...

I have formed an indie game team with some irl friends! I recently picked up writing, working on multiple writing projects! Picked up low-poly modeling in Blockbench! And that's about it! Other than spending WAY more time in my own personal life, I don't have much time to dabble with internet ongoings much anymore. As such don't spend much time online unless with friends.

Another year, and another banger Newgrounds Summer Festival! This marks the first year of it being hosted under @Kekiiro and @Slimygoo who knocked it outta the park! Ig @Anislug and @CorTat-G were there too, LMAO just messing around, they were cool co-hosts! But it wasn't just the hosts! But the panels were great! Very chill yet awesome panels this year! Very chill, goofy, and informative yet

entertaining panel! Potato and Willy bounced off each other goofing off while making Gangsta Tom Fulp and an Adderall Addicted Tankman.

Although I was kinda late, it was very interesting hearing their history with games! The ups, the downs, the goofy, and the tired!

WRITING COMPELLING CHARACTERS by @Bleak-Creep

A wonderful panel from a wonderful person! Bleak really got down to it about great ways to write characters, and make them (and the world they live in) feel like actual people rather than 2 dimensional characters. And overall useful for ANY writer!

Stan came back to give a wonderful (and badass) panel about the true reasons we should collab, explain why some collabs are destined to hurt themselves from the start, and how everyone is equal, so treat them as such!

CHARACTER DESIGN BATTLE: HEAVEN AND HELL by @Cubesona and @Oolongearlgrey

A very fun interactive panel hosted by 2 very cool character designers! With a fun theme to boot! This one was A LOT of fun seeing everyone hop together to design characters, and learn stuff!

ASKING DEV QUESTIONS by @LeviRamirez

This one was another great game panel! Telling us the history, trials, and knowledge of Levi! He also helped beginners learn a few tricks from an old dog! And how can we forget to mention his Summer Fests game he's making (where is our game, Levi?! Lmao jk it'll be posted when he's done, be patient)

Overall this year was a more low-key year, but a banger year none the less! Everyone is excited to see what the Newgrounds Festivals crew has cooking up, whatever the future holds, it will be great! As for the panelists, they were all awesome too! Please go drop them some follows! There were some bumpy roads transitioning from Stan and Spook to Keki and Slimy, but it worked out just fine in the end! Here's to even more years of the Newgrounds Summer Festival!

Been awhile since the last update, and feel there’s some things to be said, A LOT has happened since the last.

What the hell is with the name change?

Decided to talk about this first and foremost, since it’s basically a soft rebranding. The main reason? Just wanted something more original, more personal to me. There are PLENTY of SkeleBums screwing around on the web. Been a thing nagging since finding out about the people who had SkeleBum longer. Also SkeleBum as a whole no longer represents me.

Sooo…anything regarding LMNG?

YES, in fact! The <3 J00 Crew and @gloom-gorl have something cooking! Keep an eye out for our a certain event to celebrate LMNG as a whole! Celebrating the original game and crew, as well as the new game and crew. How it has brought MANY people together and celebrate Newgrounds in a cheesy Newgrounds Anime themed visual novel/dating sim!

What does the future hold?

Who knows! Personally, after the stream/contest with Gloom, and helping @QueenBoo with something, prob gonna take some time away, work on myself and my health, as well as a Boomer-Shooter passion project with irl best friends!

Wait, what the hell happened to Hellish Rave?!

It was put on hold during the production of LMNG2, because it is unwise to deal with 2 big projects at the same time. And a bunch of the crew is taking a break as they also worked on LMNG2! Does this mean Hellish Rave is canceled? HELL NO!!! There hasn’t been a week that Hellish Rave hasn’t been worked on in some way be it in concepting or writing!

Y'know, I USUALLY don't frontpage selfish shit like this, but hey, it's the end of the year celebration, so screw it! So, let's start where it all began:

January 2: Getting an audio ban! Yeah, I temporarily got myself an audio ban because my dumbass decided "hm, yes, songs made entirely out of GarageBand loops will do well on Newgrounds, totally not against the rules" now I make original stuff and have many of podcasts on the way!

February 14 - March 14: I start working on a game for Project Blind Date hosted in the Newgrounds Festivals server, hosted by @Stanpai. Work started on Valentine's Day and released on White Day! That project was a little-known game, idk if you know of it, Interstice Academy: Love is Blind! (But other cool and wonderful projects came out of Project Blind Date, like, Love Me Newgrounds!!! and Ruby Heart Matchmakers! Just...I had no part in those, but still check them out!) (btw Project Blind Date changed my life forever)

April 21: Me and the wonderful @PorcuCatChaos stop pining for a year, and start being together proper, even tho me and her have been friends for years, Newgrounds reunited us. So, thanks for getting me and her laid, @TomFulp! (LMFAO I'm sorry, I'll gladly delete that joke if you ask me too!)

April 28: I release my first ever original song

May 22: YOU FUCKING NUTJOBS!!! Holy shit, thank you all! I've been lurking on Newgrounds for 12 years, and have been posting for about a year. And it's been a blast this whole time! It was nice to come back home (Newgrounds) and to see that I'm gathering people, is nice, but this isn't about me. It's about this wonderful community! You all did this. You are all great. Newgrounds has always been the underground hub for indie people to partake in a wonderful commubity! Where creativity runs wild! Hell Tom even changed the tagline to be "Everything by everyone". Hellish Rave, believe it or not, is not dead. It is currently on hold, we are past the concepting phase, we have some finalized assets, we have 90% of the writing done! But we have one big hurdle preventing from any proper progress, and hindering the workflow of most of the team...
